REDEMPTION RUN 5K-  AGAINST ADDICTION   in memory of Mac & Morgan

Clarion Call Restoration Ministries (CCRM) is holding our first annual 5K in memory of Mac Wessels and Morgan Taylor  from Salisbury, MD. Mac & Morgan were friends of some of our team members. They passed from an overdose on the same day, January 13, 2017.They will be forever in our hearts. Mac & Morgan's Moms will be sharing their stories the day of the race. They are also forming a team in their memory. Mac Attack & Mission for Morgan. You can Join their team on registration page: or form a team in memory of someone you love and have lost to addiction.

CCRM  is made up of all volunteers. We all work full time jobs in addition to volunteering. CCRM brings light to the topic of addiction. It is an organization that will not give up on anyone in addiction. We don't care how many times you need Narcan, or need to go into Rehab, we want to help and won't give up on you. This is so much more than just a race.  Redemption Run/Walk 5K will coincide with the GO Purple  Campaign in the month of September.  With Talbot County leading the way, many other Lower Eastern Shore counties have joined this movement.  Our heart  for this run/walk is to bring awareness and to show love and support to hurting families impacted by addiction.  Addiction does not discriminate. It's time to remove all shame, embarrassment, and guilt associated with this horrible disease. We need to surround each other in love and erase the stigma of opioid addiction.

RUN/WALK with a PURPOSE

  • MEMORY -  Run/Walk and form a team in loving memory of someone you have lost to addiction.  Wear t-shirts, carry signs. Walk with others who have shared the same pain and grief. Share some hugs, and receive some healing for your heart. You are not alone.
  • RECOVERY - Run/Walk and celebrate your recovery.  Run/Walk with someone you have watched walk the road to recovery. You have stood by their side, you have cried with them, you have supported all their efforts to be clean. You have rejoiced with them and cheered them on for their courage and strength to be a victor over addiction.
  • PRAYER WALK - Run/Walk 1 mile for someone you love that is in the grips addiction. Someone you love who has relapsed. Prayer is powerful, especially in numbers. We will agree with you as we walk together and pray for your loved one, friend or family member.

  6. Can I wear someone else's bib who cannot make a race?  It is imperative that the registration data associated with your race number does in fact belong to you, the participant. While wearing someone else's bib may seem harmless to the parties perpetrating the unauthorized bib transfer, it does convey serious consequences to the organizers and participant field alike. From race results to finishers' awards being impacted as well as medical staff being able to corriectly identify participants in need of treatment, it is imperative that the registration data associated with your race number does in fact belong to you, the participant.
