Event Description
Come run Florida’s fastest 5k course. With net 80 feet of elevation loss (126 ft Loss and 46 ft Gain), only 3 turns, premium pavement, and no traffic, this race is set-up to beat your current personal record! This race will have a participant cap to ensure everyone experiences the same high-quality event. So don’t delay in signing up!

Awards: Top 3 Overall, 1st place Masters (40+) 1st place Grand Masters (50+), Top 3 in each 5 year age group 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+ in Male and Female.
This race is a point to point USATF certified distance course within Lake Louisa State Park.
Parking: There is plenty of parking near the finish and we will direct you there. Participants can either run your warm-up to the starting line or take one of our buses. We will send an email closer to the race to ask your preference.
State Park Fee: We will also send an email closer to the event to ask you to purchase the Lake Louisa Park Pass of $5 per vehicle. If you have an annual state of Florida park pass you will not need to buy a park pass.
There will be no dogs, strollers, skateboards, inline skates, bicycles, etc allowed to race in this event.
Come out and cheer! Spectators will be allowed to line the course and then join us at the finish line for a party! Please register as a spectator, and we will send you an email before the event with details and instructions to ensure you have a great experience too.

A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit the not-for-profit Friends of Lake Louisa State Park.
Event Transfers: Did you train a little more or a little less than you thought you would? You may log in to your runsignup.com account and transfer to a different race. The only cost will be the difference between the race for which you signed up and the current price of the race you now want to do, plus the transaction fee. If you transfer down there will not be a refund. Event transfer deadline date is December 31, 2019-no exceptions.
Bib Gifting: Did something come up in life or an injury? We will miss you! But you are allowed to transfer your bib to another participant at no extra cost. Log in to your runsignup account and you can gift the registration to someone else at no extra cost. Yes, you can ask the person for the entry fee, but we don't have to know about it. The t-shirt size will remain the same as what you registered. Bib gifting deadline date is January 19, 2020-no exceptions.. If you still want to be a part of the day, we always need more volunteers.
