Event Description

1.980 steps.  That's the number of steps in each of the Twin Towers that fell on September 11th.  Held at the Grandstand in the Lake County Fairgrounds, each participant will be given the name of one of the 343 firefighters who lost their life on that day.  This is a non timed event with certificates given to all who successfully complete the challenge.  A smaller climb of 343 steps (the number of steps in the Statue of Liberty) is also available.  Proceeds will support local First Responders in Crown Point and the surrounding communities.
