Event Description
Join the Cumbee Center for the 41st Annual Whiskey Road Race on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Odell Weeks Activity Center in beautiful Aiken, SC. The certified race course takes runners down Whiskey Road, through Aiken’s historic horse district, winding itself through scenic and popular South Boundary Avenue. This beautiful course is designed to challenge runners and walkers alike through the event options of 10K, 5K, and 1-mile Fun Run, providing a fun and exciting atmosphere for all who attend.
The Cumbee Center to Assist Abused Persons is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to support and empower domestic violence and sexual violence victims and their families by providing services, reducing the tolerance of abuse, and advocating for social change. Attracting runners from all over the CSRA and the state of SC, the Whiskey Road Race has been an Aiken tradition for over 40 years. The Whiskey Road Race is our annual fundraiser which allows us to continue our vital services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in the 6 counties we serve. The funds raised by this race allows us to continue operating our agency and providing hope and new beginnings to those who have suffered abuse.

Entry Fees:
The 1-Mile Fun Run CHILD entry fee is $10.00 through October 31st. After that date, the entry fee will be $13.00. *This option will not be timed. Runners will not receive an official finishing time.
The 1-Mile Fun Run ADULT entry fee is $12.00 through October 31st. After that date, the entry fee will be $15.00. *This option will not be timed. Runners will not receive an official finishing time.
The 5K entry fee is $30.00 through October 31st. After that date, the entry fee will be $35.00.
The 10K entry fee is $40.00 through October 31st. After that date, the entry fee will be $45.00.
Cumbee Center Whiskey Road Race T-shirts
Event t-shirts will be available to participants who register on or before October 15th. T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after October 15th. Extras will be ordered but will given out on a first come, first serve basis. Sizes include: YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL.
Timing/Awards/Race Divisions
The 1-Mile Fun Run will not be timed events, however, a clock will be displayed. The 5K and 10K will be electronically timed by 2 Girls and a Clock, LLC. Awards will given to the overall top male and female 5K and 10K as well as the top three male and female chip timed finishers in each age division. Age divisions are: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over. Race results will be posted on the following Facebook pages: 2 Girls and a Clock, Aiken Running Club and Sole Sisters.

Packet Pick-up/Late Registration
Runners can pick up their race packet and register on Friday, November 1st at Academy Sports from 5:00-7:00pm. Packets will also be available for pick-up on race day from 7:00am -7:30am.
Runners can register on race day from 7:00am - 7:30am. After 7:30am, no new registrations can be accepted. We accept cash, checks and credit.
