Event Description

A 5 kilometer walk along beautiful Sligo Creek. Sligo's Action in Montgomery (AIM) Team is partnering with AIM teams from other congregations and organizations to help raise funding needed to support AIM's organizing efforts around important community initiatives, such as the Child First After School Program and Affordable Housing.

The walk will start from the campus of Washington Adventist University, next to Sligo Church in Takoma Park, Maryland and will go down to Sligo Creek Parkway for an invigorating walk along the creek.

The walk will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, beginning at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
