Event Description

The 6th Annual Breanna Vergara 5K (#BVF5K) is presented by The Breanna Vergara Foundation, a non-profit organization created in memory of 11-year old Bre-Bre and dedicated to advocating for pediatric heart health. Our virtual event will be taking place from December 1st through December 13th and, for the first time ever, we will welcome participants from all over the United States. With the support of our race timing company, Wildside Online, we have teamed up with RaceJoy to bring you an interactive Race Day experience.

Download the RaceJoy mobile app in advance to ensure proper phone set-up. Invite your friends and family to track you and send you cheers along the way!

Race time will begin at promptly 8:00am EST on Tuesday, December 1st and will be open until 11:59pm EST on Sunday, December 13th. During this time frame you must complete your 5K virtual distance. All registered participants who complete the 5K and are residents of the continental U.S. will receive a finisher’s medal and an official BVF5K shirt, sent via USPS mail. Participants in Alaska, Hawaii and outside of the United States will need to pay additional postage. All times must be submitted by 11:59pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020. To use RaceJoy, you must carry your phone and activate tracking on the day you complete your race.

There are three ways to submit your times:

1. Through the RaceJoy Tracking app.

2. Through text message via your smart phone.

3. Through the results page via the race website.
