Event Description

Isabelle Palicka told her mom, "my senior year, I want to run a half marathon with you."  Please join us in running (or walking) this half marathon (with Isabelle's mom, Melissa) in honor of Isabelle.

The route is an out-and-back course on the Rush Creek Trail.  It is a fairly flat trail.  

Race proceeds will be going to honor Isabelle and donated to Brighter Days Grief Center & Hope for the Mourning.

You can run either a half - marathon or a 5K for the more casual runner.  The 5K only has individual entry so you can run with your friends and family or alone.  The half marathon can be registered for individually or split into parts with a team of two or four people totalling the full distance.

This event is intended to be a very low-key, family-friendly, all-abilities welcome run/walk to honor Isabelle.  Strollers are welcome. No pets, rollerblades, bikes, etc are allowed - runners and walkers only.  Gun-time only; no chip timing.  There will be water stops located at miles 3, 4, 6, 7.5, 9, 11, and 12.

** There is a $6 per vehicle fee to enter the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park on the east side (that is nearest to the park shelter where the race will start and finish).
