Event Description

Quite possibly the hardest sprint tri you will do in California.  Join us at the Fine Gold recreation area as we swim the cold October waters of the Millerton Lake Peninsula (approx 400 yards), ride the infamously hilly Sky Harbor Road (Approx 12 miles) appropriate for road bike, but also has enough gravel shoulder for gravel or mountain bike... and the roadies will be jealous of your gears), then a run [walk] straight climb 1 mile up the Pincushion Trail (expect this to be the slowest mile of your life), and finish with a beautiful and rewarding run down the backside of Pincushion, back into Fine Gold Park (approx 2.5 miles total).
