The Tierrasanta 5K is a run or walk up and down the tree-lined streets of Tierrasanta, a community within the City of San Diego. Start and finish are at the Tierrasanta Recreation Center (a.k.a. Community Park). Beer garden and concert at the finish line. Three medals in each age group for male and female top finishers. Prizes also will be given to runners or walkers in best Halloween costume.

Early bird registration through Sept 30th, late registration from Oct 1st. Online registration closes down on Tuesday, Oct 22nd at midnight.
If you want to register after online sales are shut down then you can register at the bib pick-up event to occur 4-7 PM on Friday, 25 October, at the Rec Center in the parking lot.
For the true procrastinators, day-of-event registration starts at 7 AM. The starting gun is at 8:30AM.
Course is from the Rec Center westward on Clairemont Mesa Blvd, run around the De Portola Middle School ball fields, back to Clairemont Mesa Blvd west, U-turn at Santo Road, then back to the Rec Center for a finish line on the ballfield grass near the beer garden. First aid, food, soda and display booths also at the finish line.
Beer garden access limited to age 21 and over. If you're under 30 or look young then bring an ID card. Beer is complementary to registered runners and walkers of age. Souvenir T-shirt included with registration. Additional shirts will be available for purchase.
Limited parking at the Rec Center but plenty of parking east of Rec Center at Tierrasanta Lutheran Church, or west of Rec Center at De Portola Middle School.
