Event details and schedule

Do you offer on-site Camping & Parking?
Yes! Webb's Slough has very spacious camping & parking. Camping will be $10 for the whole weekend at The Few The Proud The Muddy. Camping passes can be purchased at Webb's Slough when you arrive. No reservations are needed or taken. Parking will be $1 per vehicle. Camping & Parking are both located adjacent to the Ticket / Registration Booth and the Start Line.

Are there wave start times?
The first wave will run at 10 AM and the last wave will run at 2 PM. The course will close after the last wave has finished. You will be assigned a wave start time when you arrive at Webb's Slough. Ticket & Registration will open at 9 AM.

Who are the Marines of the Palouse?
The Marines of the Palouse are the non-profit organization that started The Few The Proud The Muddy in 2014. Marines of the Palouse exists to provide support and service to all Marines past and present. We facilitate recreational therapy programs and are continuously reaching out to other veteran organizations to extend our reach. We also put on an annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball celebration that is open to the public. It is our main fundraiser and allows the public to experience a traditional Marine Corps Birthday ball ceremony. We served our country and our communities and now we want to make sure that we did it for a reason.  We want to make sure that our brothers and sisters are serving for a reason. We want to make sure when our brothers and sisters return home, they have acceptance. Visit http://www.marinesofthepalouse.com for more information.

 What time should I arrive?
The Ticket & Registration Booth will be open  9 AM - 2 PM for packet pick-up and race-day registration (pre-registration is highly recommended). You will be assigned a wave start time when you pick-up your packet. You will have plenty of time to stow your belonging in your vehicle and stretch before your start time.

 What do I wear?
What do you want to see completely filthy. This is an excellent opportunity for atrocities of bridesmaids past, costumes that are made more illustrative by the accompaniment of dirt and obstacles, and for Instagrammable team uniforms.

 What do I bring?
Bring the least amount of belongings necessary so you don’t feel weighed down and can strictly focus on drowning yourself in mud. Necessities like phones, a waterproof phone cover case, a credit card, a towel or garbage bags to cover your car seats, and a water bottle (though we do have water stations!) are crucial. Your ID will be checked during packet pick-up for military discount or if you would like to enter the 21 & over beer garden after the run. No pets please.

 Will there be showers?
Rinsing showers are available but lack heat and privacy. We recommend you plan on using seat covers for your vehicle.

Can my friends & family watch as spectators?
Definitely, we love supportive cheerleaders! Because this is a fundraiser we are suggesting a minimum $5 donation for each spectator. Enjoy the food, beer, music and muddy monsters emerging from The Slough! Our only stipulation is that they stay off the actual running course- this is for their safety and also the safety of our runners.
