Event Description

Bring your team and/or family and join the West Boynton Road Runners Club as they support the PanCan (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) for our 1st annual The Mile That Matters, a 1 mile run/walk for charity.  Our 1 mile run/walk will be along beautiful Renaissance Commons Blvd and all ages and abilities encouraged to join our cause!  After the race all participants 21 and older will receive a complimentary BEER from our Sponsor Brass Tap!!  Also, after the race stay around have dinner, enjoy live music and visit our onsite vendors, there will be raffles as well as 50/50 raffle. 

All kids and toddlers are FREE (no shirts or awards will be given).  

 Prizes will go to the top three place winners in each age category for males and females.

Masters as well.  

Shirts can only be guaranteed to those registered by 9/13.

(wicking,Unisex T-Shirts and mens and women's Tanks).

 

 There is also a Virtual Run/Walk option for those who don't live nearby but still want to support the cause.  When you sign up for the Virtual Run/Walk you will receive a shirt and a coozie.

Saturday 7:30am-9:00am September 21st at 7001 Lake Charleton Shores Blvd (next to Manatee elementary by softball fields at the Park.

Location:  950 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33426

Driving Directions:

From I-95 take exit 57 Boynton Beach Blvd, Turn right onto Boynton Beach Blvd.  In 1.1 miles turn right onto Congress Ave.  Go .5 miles and Brass Tap will be on your right.

 

 

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENT:

5:00pm - Onsite registration and packet pickup

5:45pm - Warm-up 

5:55pm - National Anthem

6:00pm - 1 Mile Run/Walk begins

7:00pm - Awards Ceremony

 

Free Beer to all participants (age 21 and up) and LIVE music will be from 5:30pm until 8:30pm.
