Event Description
The 3rd Annual Suffer Better Trail Run - October 19, 2019, starting at 9 am, is a tough 10-mile trail run on steep, rugged trails in the foothills near Evergreen, CO. This year's run, just like last year, consists of two 5-mile loops on steep singletrack trails through densely wooded pine and aspen forest. Each loop includes a mandatory check-in at Granite Peak at an altitude of 8500 feet. The gun goes off at 9 am sharp!
We'll provide Tailwind nutrition energy drink and water at the start and at Granite Peak. Awards will be given to the top 3 women and top 3 men. Our generous sponsors have also provided beer and great gifts for give away after the race, so be sure and stick around.
Parking at the start/finish is nonexistent - seriously. Only cars with at least 4 registered runners will be able to park at the race site. We'll offer a shuttle from nearby Marshdale Elementary School for all others. More details on this as we get closer to race day.
Like last year, this year's event is both a race and an effort to raise awareness and funds to preserve and protect our precious public lands and improve the quality of our life-sustaining air and water. Runners have the ability to raise funds themselves for POW and Conservation CO.
We will be cup-free again this year, so bring your bottles!
