Event Description

Dedham Trails Day is Sunday, August 4th from 10am-1pm at the Dolan Recreation Center, 269 Common Street, Dedham. Participants will be able to register for either a 5K Trail Run/Walk or the Sprint & Splash - 5K Trail Run and 1 mile paddle on the beautiful Charles River. This event is Rain or Shine. 

After the race join us for our family friendly festival at the Dolan Center and  visit our many local vendors and informational tables. L.L. Bean will be offering free kayak demos on the Charles River, free kids activities including family scavenger hunt, facepainting, bouncy house, arts and crafts and live music.

Event details and schedule

The 5K Trail Run/Walk and Sprint & Splash will begin at 10am at NewBridge on the Charles Campus, 4000 Great Meadow Rd, Dedham.  The run winds through the scenic trails of NewBridge and Whitcomb Woods and finishes at the Dolan Center, 269 Common Street where there will be a family fun festival from 10am-1pm. 

Please pick up your race bibs and packets at L.L. Bean, Legacy Place, Dedham Friday, August 2nd or Saturday, August 3rd. Parking for race participants will be at P1 (first parking lot on your right as you enter NewBridge Campus). There will be a shuttle bus to take race particpants back to their cars from the Dolan Center after the race. The shuttle will run throughout the event. 

Bathroom facilities are available at the Dolan Center only, no bathroom facilities are available at NewBridge Campus (start of the race). 

The trails can be buggy so please wear bug spray.
