Event Description

This Run’s Personal is a chip-timed 5K run and 1-mile walk through Downingtown, PA. One of Team CMMD’s biggest fundraising events, it is great for the whole family, with kids from the Team CMMD In Training program running the 5K and supporters of all ages walking the mile!  The course is lined with the dedications to all of those close to our hearts on a cancer journey.  You'll be able to add "who you run/walk for" in your race registration.

Event Details:   Race Day Registration-7:00 AM, Race Welcome-8:40, Presentation of Karen Baker Bravery Award-8:45, Race start at 9:00 AM, Awards-10:00 AM

Awards: Cash Prizes of $150 for Top Overall Male / Female, $100 for second place, $100 for Masters Division and Age-Group awards for 5K  runners, both women & men: 8 & Under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

Thanks to our participants and sponsors, we raise over $60,000 at this event annually to fund our family assistance, scholarship, and community outreach programs. Patients often have reduced work hours and fall short on bill payments while struggling to maintain income during their cancer treatments. Other patients accrue transportation or lodging expenses throughout their care. Generosity from community supporters such as yourself make it possible for these expenses to be paid by the Team CMMD Foundation. Then our friends, family, and loved ones in our community can focus on their journey. Thank you for being part of the Team!
