Event Description

Come join us, this Thursday evening, in celebrating the extraordinary life of our dear longtime friend, Dave Murphy, who helped do the timing as a volunteer at over 1,200 local races over a 45 year period. “The Murphy Mile” will be run in memory of this truly wonderful man and all donations will benefit our neighbors at Charlottesville High School. 

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will help with future improvements to the Charlottesville High School Track.

The Murphy Mile will take place at 7:00 p.m. during the Charlottesville Track Club's All-Comers Summer Track Meet.
