Event Description

COURSES: The Ranger Summer XC Classic will be conducted on the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course on the University of Wisconsin Parkside campus in Somers (Kenosha), Wisconsin. The courses run at the Classic will be used this fall for the UWPXC team home meets, eight regular season high school meets, the Wisconsin USATF Association Championships & the Foot Locker XC Midwest Regional Meet.

ENTRY FEE: On or before August 2nd. $15.00 (17 & U) and $20.00 (18+). Late fees (through 8/6) are: $20.00 (17 & U) and $25.00 (18+). Race day fees are $25.00 (3K) and $30.00 (5K) Make sure you click "SPECIAL PRICING" at checkout when registering runners 17 & under.

T-SHIRTS:  T-shirts will be given to all entrants registered on or before Monday, August 2nd. Late registrants will receive shirts while the supply lasts.

COOL OFF AFTER YOUR RACE:  We will have plenty of freeze pops and Sqwincher Sqweeze Electrolyte Freezer Pops for all entrants after the race. Spectators may purchase refreshment tickets on race day.

AWARDS: Medals will be presented to the top five M&F 12&U, 13-17 and 18 & older in the 3K.  The top 2 M&F finishers in the 5K will receive $100 Foot Locker gift cards.  5K M&F 3-5 will receive $50 FL gift cards. Medals will be presented to the top five M&F 12&U, 13-17, 18-39and 40+ in the 5K. All NCAA rules apply to collegiate athletes. There will be XC related door prizes drawn throughout the awards ceremony.

PARKING: Use the UW-Parkside Communication Arts lots. DO NOT PARK in the Petrifying Springs lots as you may be ticketed!
