Event Description

Family friendly Run/Walk with 5K and 10K options.  Bring the kids and enjoy the day on the beautiful Napa Valley wetlands.  

Course information: The most scenic 5k/10k in the Bay area! The course is flat and fast on paved roads and well groomed gravel trails. Beautiful wetlands views are visible from every turn and participants can expect to see wildlife including birds, owls, swans, or raptors. You may even catch a glimpse of the playful river otters that live in the area.

Event schedule:  

8 am: Runner Check in begins, Day of registration opens 

9 am: 5k and 10k races begin 

Arrival information: Race begins at 9 am, but arrive early to hang out with some local characters. Santa and Rudolph will make an appearance and we will have pre-race snacks, hot chocolate and coffee. 

Parking information: Parking is available along Wetlands Edge Road and Eucalyptus Drive. Please take care not to block driveways of local residents. Parking is limited, please consider carpooling with a friend. Race begins at the Napa River Bay Trail, Wetlands Edge Trailhead on the corner of Eucalyptus Drive and Wetland Edge Road in American Canyon. 

Waivers and ID information: All runners and walkers are required to sign a waiver when registering. Please bring an ID with you for packet pick up. 

What to bring:  Carry a cell phone or camera to catch the beautiful views. Bring a warm jacket or layers for after the race in case of cold.        

What to wear: We encourage Reindeer and/or holiday themed attire!  Race is rain or shine. Please bring layers in case of wet weather.

Other details: Dogs on leash are welcome.  Packet Pick up information will be available in November.  Race registration includes long sleeve Reindeer Run tech shirt and goody bag. All finishers receive a holiday jingle bell necklace in place of a traditional medal.
