0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

PARKING AND PACKET PICKUP

Plenty of parking is available on site at Steilacoom High School.  You can enter the High School on the North (student entrance), or East (main entrance) and look for signage directing you toward packet pickup in the high schools main foyer. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

All courses are USATF Certified.  All events begin and end on the high school track.  Events utilize out-and-back courses on the gently rolling roads of Steilacoom and Lakewood.  Each mile will be clearly marked, and a volunteer will assist you at the turnaround point on the course. We will also offer water and Gatoraid approx. every 2-3 miles throughout the course.  All events feature a downhill finish onto the high school track.   Course maps, with elevation profile and water station locations are available at http://www.runfsrc.org

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

07:30 — Packet Pickup & Day of Race Registration open

08:45 — Registration and Packet Pickup Ends 

09:00 — Start of the mile and kilometer events

FACILITIES

Our pre-and post-race facilities are some of the finest around.  We are able to utilize the foyer and cafeteria area of Steilacoom High School, as well as access to the indoor restrooms and locker rooms and showers.  After your event, you may enjoy an assortment of food and beverages. 

RESULTS

Official chip time and age group finish are available at our results kiosk in the building -courtesy of Peak Performance Timing.  Final results will be posted on our run signup page after the conclusion of the event.

AWARDS

Age group ribbons will be awarded to top 3 in each age group.  These will be available at our results kiosk. 

At the courtesy of some of our sponsors, overall awards will be provided to men’s and women’s winners in each event. 

SERIES PARTICIPATION

Participants may enter either the mile or kilometer series.  New for 2018: Participants completing at least 3 series events will each receive a medal.   To be guaranteed a medal, participants must signup for the series no later than the 2nd event, Jan 27.  Medals will be handed out at the conclusion of the 20K/20Mi on March 24.

Additionally, age group scoring will be kept for each series and will be posted on our website.  Scores will be based on a points-based system earned for age group finish.

ADVERSE WEATHER

This is a winter race series, and we are frequently confronted with cold, rain, wind and snow.  In the rare event that inclement weather forces a cancellation or postponement of the event, participants will receive an email by 7AM.  We will also make every effort to update our website http://www.runfsrc.org

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Please note that there are no refunds, transfers, or roll-overs allowed. For everyone's safety, pets are not allowed on the courses.
