Event Description
The McDonough Methodist Academy 5k is an annual tradition that starts from the gymnasium of McDonough Methodist Academy and goes through the beautiful and historic downtown McDonough square. A fairly flat course with some mild rolling hills will keep you running like a Bunny and looking forward to the breakfast following the event. Sign up by March 8 to guarantee that you get a shirt!
This race is a USATF certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier and uses electonric chip timing.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS (5K)
Awards will be presented to the Top overall male and female and Top Masters male and female. Medals will be presented to the Top three male and female 5K runners in each of the following age groups:
10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

Parking will be available near the McDonough Methodist gymnasium, McDonough Methodist Church as well as on Griffin St (heading south of the square) and Macon St (heading north toward the square).
