Event Description

Venue:  The race is held at Magruder Park in Hyattsville, MD – the city’s major park facility.  It is located at 40th Avenue and Hamilton St. and covers 32 acres. 

Parking:  Parking is located next to the park in the large lot just off Gallatin St.  Parking will not be allowed in Magruder Park on race day as the Park will be closed to motor vehicle traffic.  Click the 'Contact Event' link above to reach the Race Director for information regarding team tent logistics.

Amenities:  In addition to all the fun of racing and the playgrounds at the Park, food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available from Timber Pizza Company and Shortcake Bakery.  The beer garden will feature beer from Franklins Restaurant, Brewery, and General Store and Hyattsville's newest brewery, Streetcar 82.  And don't forget about all the great restaurants located 1 mile away on Route 1 in the Hyattsville Arts District.
