Tejon Ranch will play host to a race that will put even the most seasoned Spartan veterans to the test.
Located just an hour north of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, the majority of Tejon Ranch remains in it's natural state making for one of the more picturesque courses on the Spartan circuit. Spartan racers will traverse the virtually untouched land while climbing steep inclines, rugged mountains, oak covered rolling hills, and heavily wooded valleys. Try not be get too distracted by the breathtaking views of the Southern California landscape.
Spartan Trail is a no-obstacles foot race through rugged wilderness, overseen by legendary race directors from the world of trail running. With a 10k (6.2 mile) race at all events and a Half Marathon (13.1 mile) at select locations, there’s a Spartan Trail for everyone.

Arrive an hour and a half before your start time. This gives you enough time to park, pick up your race packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up.

WHAT TO WEAR
We recommend dressing in performance gear (NOT COTTON). Think compression tights or shorts and breathable tops made from water wicking material. Wear shoes with good traction that you’ve trained in. We have some great trail shoes in our Shop.
In addition to your clothes, consider fuel when planning for race day. We strongly suggest wearing a hydration pack and carrying energy gels or Clif bars. Again, train with the same fuel you plan on using during the race.
