Event Description

The Teen Program at Advocates Against Family Violence is excited to host our second ever Run for Respect 5k Fun Run. Our goal is to raise awareness for teen dating violence, and bring in resources available to young people in our community. The theme this year is empowering our community to build healthy relationships through togetherness, resources, and empathy for one another. All proceeds will support out Teen Outreach Program in providing resources and healthy relationship education to young people in the Treasure Valley.  

Event details and schedule

Check in and packet pick up will start at 12:30PM at the stage in Indian Creek Plaza. All participants will be required to sign a waiver at the time of check in. Participants should dress in athletic clothing appropriate for fall weather at the end of October. Participants should be photo ID, registration receipt, and water. Parking will be available in the spaces around Indian Creek Plaza and throughout Down Town Caldwell.  The Race will begin at 1:45 PM. Participants will run/walk three laps through Downtown Caldwell, starting and ending in the Plaza. Food trucks and community vendors will be present before and after the race.
