Event Description
Folsom Lake International Triathlon
The Folsom Lake International Triathlon is in its ninth year. The race is at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake, featuring a lake swim, one lap road bike, and scenic trail run.
The Olympic-distance Triathlon, Super Sprint Triathlon, Oly Lite Triathlon and Aquabike will all be sanctioned by USA Triathlon, requiring an annual or one-day license with USAT. The Open Water Swim is Not a USAT sanctioned event. Included for each competitor is a swim cap, plus hot post race meal, free athlete massage and a custom Folsom Lake International Triathlon Finisher Medal.
Commemorative Folsom Lake International Triathlon race t-shirts are available for $15 when ordered before May 6th.
First place Male and Female in the Folsom Lake International Triathlon will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards five deep in each five-year age group and Relay Team awards for the Top team in each Division of Male, Female and Coed.
First place Male and Female in the Folsom Lake Super Sprint Triathlon will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards five deep in each ten-year age groups.
The Oly Lite Triathlon and Aqua-Bike will have awards for the top three male and female overall finishers.
Distances
Folsom Lake Super Sprint Triathlon - 400 yd swim-6.5 mile bike-2 mile run.
Folsom Lake International Triathlon - 1.5K swim-40K bike-10K run.
Oly Lite Triathlon - 1.5K swim-40K bike-1 mile run.
Aqua-Bike - 1.5K swim-40K bike.
Open Water Swim - 1.5K
Relay Teams
Relay Teams consist of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner. Entry fee includes Finisher Medals and post race meals. Awards will be first overall in Male, Female and Coed division for Folsom Lake International Triathlon.
Packet Pick Up Information
Athlete packets may be picked up on race morning at the race venue from 6 til 8 am.
Refund and Transfer Information
TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $15 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
Race for FREE Information
Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing Volunteer Director Teri@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.
