Event Description
Join the fun on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at Pera Club in Tempe. This race accommodates runners of all levels – choose from a 1 mile, 5 kilometer, or 10 kilometer course.
The Goal—
You will be helping 90 students fulfill their fundraising goal for their 2018 Senior Trip to Washington, D.C. This is the ONE and ONLY opportunity the CPA students will have to help offset the cost related to their educational trip.
The School—
Chandler Preparatory Academy believes in each students’ innate potential to comprehend the rich tradition of Western Civilization to which they are heirs and to grow in the virtues that mark a profound, philosophical life — summarized by the triad of our Latin motto: verum, pulchrum, bonum — truth, beauty, and goodness. The students’ Senior trip is an important part of this classical education experience from which our school is modeled. During their time at Chandler Prep, the students focus exclusively on learning about Western Civilization. The trip to Washington D.C. enhances the focus of the Western Civilization by providing them an opportunity to physically experience the cultural and political center of our part of the Western world.
The Run—
You will run through the beautiful SRP grounds and along the canal, before returning to our family style picnic. There will be activities for the kids, playground equipment, basketball hoops, a beach volleyball court, offering music in a relaxed setting. There will be awards for top 3 in each category, as well as an award for the BEST DRESSED Titan!
The Silent Auction and Raffle—
The Class of 2018 will be raffling off items, such as a gift from Total Wine and More. The gift includes a Private Wine Tasting for 20 in the Private Room of their Gilbert store, valued at $500! Details below! Raffle ticekts can be purchased at packet pick up and on the day of the run. We will have an ONLINE auction with a link soon! We can email all participants the link, but will post here once available. You can bid from Nov 2nd- Nov 12th at 1:00. Winners may pick up prizes at 1:00 day of event, or pick up from Chandler Prep Academy Monday Nov 14, 3-4pm, Wed Nov 16th 3-4pm. We can mail tickets, but cannot be responsible if lost or stolen.

Friday, Nov 11th, Packet pick up is at Roadrunner Sorts in Tempe marketplace from 4:30-6:30pm
Day of packet pick up and late registration is at 8:15 am

9:10 am 5k
9:20 1 mile
Awards directly after each run ends.
