Event Description
Join us for the first ever Waverly Park Trail Bash 1/4 & 1/2 Marathon to be run on the amazingly runnable Waverly Park Trail System!
Choose from a 1 lap 1/4 marathon (6.55 miles) or a 2 lap half marathon option through these wonderfully underrated trails. Runners will receive a race shirt, finisher/overall awards, professional chip timing, free race photos, a beautiful course on beginner-friendly trails.
The Waverly Park Trail Bash will be the second race in the all new Trail Bash Series! The Trail Bash Series aims to bring local, high quality trail races to the Louisville area through the winter months. With relatively short race options, the Trail Bash Series is ideal for new trail runners looking to experience the trail running world for the first time and veterans of the sport looking to maintain off-season fitness alike.
Aid Stations will be located at mile 4 (no cutoff), 6.5 (1:45 cutoff for the half), and 10 (2:40 cutoff for the half) for the half marathon and mile 4 for the 1/4 marathon. They will feature typical aid station support. This is a cupless event and runners will be expected to carry at least 12 oz of fluids for the half marathon.
You can expect high quality swag, beautiful race venues, and the wonderful community that surrounds trail running at each of our Trail Bash events. Run all three events and receive a special series award!

We will be enforcing an 18 minute/mile cutoff pace for the Half Marathon for the safety of all involved.
