Welcome to the registration page for the Third Kosciuszko Freedom Run 5K & 1K Kids Run!
Take part in a family-friendly run in celebration of Thaddeus Kosciuszko, a Revolutionary War hero who served in the Continental Army and helped America win its Independence. Described by Thomas Jefferson as “the purest son of liberty”, Thaddeus Kosciuszko stood for equality and liberty for all.
Join us in commemorating Kosciuszko’s legacy with a run on Sunday, October 6th 2019, through the picturesque C&O Canal National Historic Park (Great Falls, MD). Run with us or just come to cheer on your friends and family while enjoying some delicious Polish and Lithuanian delicacies.
There are many reasons to joins our race this year:
- Medals for ALL adult runners and various prizes - courtesy of 4F, the official outfitter of the Polish Olympic Team - for the winners in different age groups.
- Additional honors for the best runners from the D.C. diplomatic community.
- Special honors for the best teams! So we encourage you to create a team.
- All adult and kid runners will also receive beautiful hats designed especially for this occasion by 4F in view of celebration of the centennial of Poland-U.S. diplomatic relations.
