Social group ride
The Winter Classic Poker ride has two routes to choose from that take you through scenic North Scottsdale area on well marked bike lanes.
The Poker ride consists of an "A" ride and a "B" ride. Participants will ride through the valley, stopping at designated areas to select a card for their hand of Poker. Our volunteers will mark the Riders "Card" for his/her selection and send them on their way. Each stop has water and bathrooms.

Prizes for Best Poker Hand
100% of proceeds benefit RESCUE, a local, volunteer driven, grass roots organization dedicated to saving abandoned dogs and cats. RESCUE provides love and care for each animal until a permanent loving home can be found. RESCUE is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit serving the Valley since 1995 - www.azrescue.org.
RESCUE dogs will be at Mellow Mushroom to cheer you on, thank you for your support and to show off their amazing personalities.

Registration 7 am - 8 am
Pre-registration packet pick up 7 am - 8 am
A & B ride will start at 8 am
"A" ride is roughly 42 miles. "B" ride is 28. A and B groups will ride the same route for the first 19 miles. This will take us east from Mellow Mushroom, through the Princess, over to Bell Road for our first stop at Cyclologic. Then up Bell Road for a clockwise loop through McDowell Mountain up through Thompson Peak to Hayden up to Sonoran Hills for the next stop. This is the turn around point for the "B" riders. "A" riders will continue up to Pinnacle Peak, over to Hayden, north to Jomax, east to Pima, up to Dynamite. We will head east up Dynamite with the next stop at the convenience store. This is the turn around point for "A" ride. Riders will then head back down Dynamite to Pima, south on Pima to Thompson Peak, east to Hayden, south to Princess back to Mellow Mushroom.
Each stop has water and bathrooms.
Route is on well marked bike lanes through scenic North Scottsdale.
Mellow Mushroom/High Street has plenty of garage parking as well as street parking.
Bike racks will be available for Post Ride activities.
Live music from 11 am - 2 pm.
"A" riders receive 2 raffle tickets, "B" riders receive 1 raffle ticket. Prizes will be selected during Post Ride Party.
Prizes for Best Poker Hand will be awarded during Post Ride Party.
