Valley Children’s Advocacy Center will host our 8th Annual Club at Ironwood Turkey Trot 5K and 1-Miler Run/Walk on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, 2019
Join us for a walk, run, or “trot” through the beautiful golf course at the Club at Ironwood in Staunton, Va. Proceeds for this event go entirely to support Valley Children’s Advocacy Center.
Valley CAC is a local non-profit organization that works closely with Law Enforcement and Child Protective Services to provide immediate services to child abuse victims in the Staunton/Augusta/Waynesboro area. Services provided to children and their non-offending caregivers include Forensic Interviews, Victim Advocacy, and Mental Health Counseling. Last year, Valley CAC provided services to 219 children in our local area and nearly 75% of those cases involved sexual abuse allegations. All of our services are provided completely free of charge, so your support is greatly appreciated!

7:30 am: Race-day registration and packet pickup opens behind The Club
9:00 am: 5K and 1-Miler begin
Packet pickup will also be available on Wednesday, November 27th from 4:30-6:30 pm at The Club. This is a chip-timed race. There will be awards for top male and female 5K finishers. 1-Miler will not be timed. Snacks and beverages will be provided to all participants.
