Event Description

Welcome to the fifth annual Oktoberfest Bike for Kids benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield, MO!  Join us for a fun family-friendly cycling event and after party at the beautiful Barley House at Moon Town Crossing on Sunday September 29, 2019.

The first 200 registrants will receive a special 5th anniversary shirt, so sign up early!   

This entire event will have a green focus, no disposable bottles will be used and recycling receptacles will be provided along the routes and at the party.  We encourage you and your team to partner with us and help us promote reusable and sustainable products and a responsible ride.

Prizes will be awarded for best individual costume and best team costume, so dust off your lederhosen and show us your German spirit!  Viel Glück!

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet pickup will begin at 8:00 a.m, the 32 mile ride will begin at 9:00 a.m., the 20 mile ride begins at 9:30 a.m. and the 11 mile ride will begin at 10:00 a.m.  The early bird registration fee is $30 for individual riders, after September 15, 2019 the registration fee is $40 per rider.  Teams of 5 or more receive a $5 discount for each registration.

Your registraton fee will include a shirt, complimentary German lunch, and two beer tickets (ages 21 and over).  Food and beer will be available for purchase as well, invite your family and friends to support your ride and enjoy this great event!
