What Is Running of the Roller Bulls?
Are you brave enough to beat the bulls? Running of the Roller Bulls is an unrivaled, thrilling challenge where bullfighters dance with destiny, attempting to complete a 1.5 mile dash unscathed. Spectacularly attired Roller Derby Skaters pursue bullfighters, tagging them with foam batons and marking them red. The challenge is followed by celebratory festivities, food and libations.

What happens at Running of the Roller Bulls?
Packet pickup begins at 8 AM on Event Day. Bullfighters are encouraged to arrive early for unique themed photo opportunities, entertainment and preparatory activities. Gathering at the Start Chute begins at approximately 9:45 AM when bullfighters will be released in waves from 10 – 10:45 AM.

During the dash, bullfighters will be pursued and tagged by Roller Derby Skaters with paint dipped foam batons. Bullfighters try to outrun the Derby Skaters for the 1.5 mile course, and will be given a medal upon completion.
Immediately following the dash, there will be a fiesta with bounteous food, libations, photo opportunities and continued entertainment.
