Event Description

Run or walk the Turkey Breast Trot 5K on the newest addition to Conyers’ PATH Trail stretching from Pine Log Park to Olde Town Conyers. Take in the beauty of wooded stretches along the course, a bridge and a few hills along the way. This is an out and back course on the PATH multi-purpose, concrete trail.

This is a fundraiser to fight Breast Cancer so participants are encouraged to wear PINK!

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 8AM

5K: Starts at 9AM

Awards:  Awards will be presented in the 5K to the Overall Male and Female and top 3 male and female winners in age groups.  Race Registrants will be entered to win door prizes featuring Thanksgiving Dinner Treats!

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com. 

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those registered by 11/8/19. Registrations after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  Plenty of post-race refreshments (drinks, fruit …).

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race Series.

Proceeds: Benefit the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
