Event Description

This will be our 8th annual Turkey Trot and 2nd annual Little Gobbler Trot. Come support the Rifle High School Track and Field Team by running a 5k before you partake in all of the wonderful Thanksgiving Day Goodies. We're hosting this FUNraiser in hopes of raising enough money to help buy new pole vault and high jump pits. 

We are excited for the opportunity to host a community event and get people out and about to enjoy this great holiday together. For the time being, we will plan on running two waves of this race, the Little Gobblers at 8:30 and the Big Turkeys at 9 a.m., with on-site registration starting at 7:30 a.m. The registration table (where you'll pick up your t-shirt) will be set in front of Cooper Field, just past Wamsley Elementary school on 30th Street in Rifle, CO. We'll have refreshments available before and after the race to add to our community fellowship. Most importantly, costumes are encouraged and there will be a pumpkin pie giveaway for the best costume and first-place finisher of each gender.

Registration the day of the race is $30 individual and $80 family. (Day of the race shirt sizes is not guaranteed, first come first serve) 

Little Gobblers are $15 early registration and $20 day of the race.

On-Site Registration opens at 7:30 am.

Little Gobbler Trot will begin at 8:30. 

The race will start at 9:00 am.

Refreshments are available from 8:00 am till the event is finished.

Be prepared for any type of weather, because we will not cancel the event and will run/walk in just about all weather situations.
