We will be running heats of 10 every thirty minutes, starting with the 50K runners, followed by the 22 mile runners, and lastly the 12 mile runners. All runners will be REQUIRED to wear a mask/facial covering at the Registration Table and the Start/Finish Line. There will be fruit, water, and Gatorade at the Start/Finish for runners to take. Runners will need to self-sustain themselves. If you are needing a resupply along the course, you MUST reach out to the Creede Chamber NLT Wed, Sept 2. First aid kits and two-way radios will be along the course should you need medical assistance. At the Registration Table, all runners will sign and date that they are not showing signs of COVID and will notify the Creede Chamber if they test positive for Covid between the race and Sept 19, 2020. At this time, we do not have the equipment to manage times w the required heat starts, so runners will be timing themselves. In order to promote social distancing, we will not be having an awards ceremony this year. These were tough decisions to make and numerous runners were consulted along with the Silver Thread Public Health. We appreciate your support and understanding in the drastic changes we had to make in order to have this year's Creede Mountain Run.
