Race starts at 5:00pm!
Online registration closes Monday October 7, 2019 at 11:59pm HST.
Come out and join us for our first ever costume-themed 5K Fun Run! Participants will have the opportunity to run across Marine Corps Base Hawaii in this family-friendly event. The race will start and finish at Marine Corps Base Hawaii's base theater (Building 219). This race is open to the general public! This race qualifies for our Frequent Racer Medal.
All Civilians (non DoD card holders) must register before September 27, 2019.
Entry Fees: Early registration cost is $25. Regular registration will begin October 3 with a $10 cost increase to $35. T-Shirts are not guaranteed if registered after October 2, 2019. All registrations are non-refundable.
Event details and schedule
Eligibility: Runners, walkers, and strollers are allowed on the course. Strollers will line up at the back of the starting group. No bikes/scooters/roller blades/skateboards/etc. will be allowed on the course. No dogs are allowed on the course.
Registering after online registration closes: Once online registration closes, participants may register at front desk of the Semper Fit center on MCBH Kaneohe Bay or General Louis H.Wilson Fitness Center on Camp Smith if they have proper base access. Registration on race day will be $35, payment with cash or check only, and participants are not guaranteed a t-shirt. All registrations are non-refundable.
Event details and schedule
Packet Pick Up: Civilians (non DoD employees), Active Duty, Dependents, DoD employees and Retirees can pick up their packet on Wednesday, October 9 at the MCBH Kaneohe Bay Pass House from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. All civilians will receive a special event pass if needed to get on base on race day. If participant cannot pick up their special event pass at packet pick up on Wednesday, special event passes will be given at the front gate on race day beginning at 3:00pm. Active Duty, Dependents, DoD employees, and Retirees with base access may pick up their packets on Wednesday, October 9 at the Pass House or Thursday, October 10 at the Semper Fit Center (Building 3037) from 10:00am-4:00pm. Packets may also be picked up on race day at the registration tent.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top male and female best costumes, best duo costume, and the best group costumes.
