Event Description
Please join us for the third annual "Strides for Sheri 5K & Fun Run" benefiting the Sheri Davis Memorial Scholarship fund on Saturday, October 26, 2019! The event will also include food for purchase, live music and fun for the whole family! We encourage everyone to wear their Halloween costumes as we raise money for a great cause!
The cost is $30 for adults and $10 for children 10 years of age or younger. The maximum price for a family of four is $90 (plus $10 for each person over the number 4).Each participant will receive a t-shirt. Registration will begin at 9 AM. There will be a one mile "Fun Run" beginning at 10, with the 5K starting after. Registration will be available on the day of the race in person for $35. Sponsorships are also available.
*** Please note that only registrations submitted before October 9th, 2019 will receive t-shirts due to the lag time associated with ordering shirts.
The Sheri Davis Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Carollton Middle School Fifth Grade teacher, Sheri Davis, who passed away on October 31, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. The scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving Carrollton High School graduate who plans to pursue a career in education.
