Event Description

Race #5 of the XTERRA SoCal Trail Run Series is XTERRA Black Mountain 5k and 15k Trail Runs! Sick of all the climbs and feeling like going fast? This race is for you...until you gotta climb out of the valley to the finish!

Come see what San Diego's suburban XTERRA is all about!! Fly through the neighborhoods on awesome trails. This course is all about speed!

Both courses are professionally marked, staffed with excellent happy volunteers and medics, and supplied with Aid Stations serving Gatorade, water, and energy gels and bars.

Cheer on your friends as they finish, climb the podium in 5-year age group categories, eat all the Baja Fresh burritos you like, enjoy some coffee, get a sports massage from Vision for Enrichment, and enjoy the XTERRA racing scene. Kick back in the grass after the race and have a great spring morning with a family atmosphere!

All participants get super soft race shirts, with an option for a woman's tank top, sweet finisher medals, a hot breakfast, and a chance for massage. Everyone gets to have an AWESOME TIME ON THE TRAILS!!
