Event Description

December 1 2005 is a day that changed the lives of many.  2/7 Fox Company was hit by an IED near Fallujah, Iraq. Instantly killing 10 of our brothers.  This not only changed the course of that day, week, month and year... Many lives are still affected today. These heroes' families are still without their loved ones. The Marines they served with have children that are named after some of these men(myself included).  The world as a whole has missed out on the great things these men were destined for, each and every one of them.  

Why, after 14 years, am I deciding to host a charitable event in their honor? WHY NOT?  They deserve proper recognition and praise for their service and sacrifice. Their families deserve it as well. Whether the families attend the event or not; they will know.  

This is something that is near and dear to my heart. I learned so much from so many of these men, as did countless others.  Any time there is a Fox company reunion this massacre is brought up.  We constantly honor them within the brotherhood. It’s time for the public to be invited to participate in honoring them as well; to be given a small glimpse into what these warriors went through, and to thank them for their ultimate sacrifice.

Why December 1st?  The date in itself is significant enough.  To do it in my home state of Montana where December can be a cold rough time is my personal choice. They sacrificed everything for this great country. I think being a little cold and tired after an event like this is the least we can do to honor our fallen brothers.

Please join me, and many others, as we remember, honor, and celebrate these great men and help raise awareness of the sacrifices that have been, and continue to be, made by the men and women in uniform on December 1st, 2019 in Helena, Montana.
