For more information, to register, or to volunteer (and earn free events), please visit our website at www.tctruns.com.

This event is run on the El Dorado Trail in beautiful historic Placerville, which will be decorated with annual Christmas displays. The path is surrounded with beautiful oak trees, rolling hills, and incredible views.

All races follow out-and-back courses heading eastward from the starting line at Mosquito Road. For each distance, the path goes up a steady 3% grade to the turnaround point, and the second half of the race is downhill all the way to the finish. The 5K, 10K, and 15K courses are run entirely on a paved bike path. The pavement ends at about 5.6 miles into the half marathon course, and the remainder of the distance to the turnaround point is run on a dirt and gravel path. The total gain in elevation for the half marathon is 1043 feet.

Also, we have added a half marathon relay to our event this year.
