Event Description

We are geared up to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Mad Anthony Mud Run as we pay homage to our City’s namesake, General “Mad” Anthony Wayne. Mad Anthony was known for his tenacity, intensity and character; we hope that you will bring those same attributes as you complete this adventurous challenge.
We will be offering both in-person and a virtual option for the Mad Anthony Mud Run in 2021.  

IN-PERSON OPTION: 25 runners per starting groups, 15 minutes apart.  Timed race. Team participant available.  ALL swag and bibs will be mailed to the address you provide when registering. (FIRST starting group reserved for "elite" runners, under 35 minute finish time).

VIRTUAL OPTION: The course will be open and marked the weekend prior to race day, Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, February 21st. Not timed.  ALL Swag and bibs will be mailed to the address you provide when registering. 
Use your best discretion when choosing to complete the course independently.  The course will also be open to virtual runners Saturday, February 27th and Sunday, February 28 AFTER the race.  PLEASE NOTE THE 27TH IS IN-PERSON RACE DAY AND THE COURSE WILL NOT BE OPEN TO VIRTUAL RUNNERS UNTIL AFTER at 2PM

Details: 

•Expect numerous obstacles along the course as well as trail running.  Some high touch obstacles that have been in place in the past will be absent in 2021 due to Covid-19 precautions.  This includes but not limited to the vertical walls, cinderblock carry, net climb and monkey bars.

•There WILL NOT be a post race party.  We are partnering with a long time Mad Anthony Mud Run sponsor, Seven Arrows Brewing Company, to offer a indoor/outdoor after race celebration experience at Seven Arrows Brewing Company on race day, Saturday, February 27, 2021.  Participants will present their race bib (in-person and virtual) at Seven Arrows Brewing Company to receive ONE FREE Falls Ridge Vienna Lager when visiting the brewery from Saturday, February 27 through close of business Monday, March 1.

•Top individual and team finishers will be announced via email after the race.  

•You must be at least 12 years old on or before February 24, 2021 to participate.

•As a reward for your battlefield victory, all participants will receive a custom made Mad Anthony Mud Run medal, long-sleeved race shirt, and a surprise 10th anniversary piece of swag by mail.  ALL Swag and bibs will be mailed to the address you provide when registering.
