Event Description

Welcome to the 33rd annual Rock Canyon Half Marathon held Sunday, December 8th, 2019 at 9 a.m.  You will find beautiful scenery as you run along side the historic Arkansas River Trail. You will continue on the trail up to Lake Pueblo's dam and back to City Park. This truly is a must do race! Our goal is to offer a high quality race at a reasonable cost so we limit the event to 750 runners. 

The Rock Canyon course is accurate, fast, and beautiful. After running your 13.1 miles, you will be greeted with a great assortment of refreshments and amazing cheers from family and friends. Our swag this year is more than AWESOME!!! You will get a Rock Canyon 13.1 Hoodie, a Finisher Mug, Placing Medals, a Breakfast Treat in your registration bag, and Hot Chocolate for EVERYONE!!!!

Plus, we always bring in the fun and a whole lot extra..... like last year's hand painted rock(something new this year), fun signage, music at the finish line, tons of awesome finisher snacks, and gatorade along the course.

We are excited to be the race directors of our favorite race and can't wait to see all our old friends along with new friends that will be joining us for the first time. Whatever the weather brings us we will not cancel because we know runners love to run! Also, proceeds from the race will help support our local school track teams.
