Resolve to change your year this year!

This is race #2 of the 3-Race Resolution Series at Seward Park.

 

Race or walk a flat course in beautiful Seward Park with views of Lake Washington along the entire course. The 2.5K and 5K is out and back once, the 10K out and back twice.

Do all 3 events and watch your time and fitness improve.

Medals to Top-3 Overall and Top-3 in each age group in 10-year increments. All kids 12 and under win a finisher's award at awards ceremony.

Resolution Box: A box will be available for participants to enter their 2020 fitness resolutions (You can choose to be anonymous if you like). Resolutions will be read throughout the event.

 

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on Dave's Organic bread will be provided along with fruit, chocolate milk, coconut water, and coffee post-race.

 

Everyone who pre-registers for the 3-Race Series will be eligible for the Most Improved Award. Awards will be given based on total time improved to one individual in the 5k and one individual in the 10k. Winners will receive a $100 gift certificate to their favorite running store, free entry into the Fall Alki Beach Series, and a wicking shirt from the Seattle Run Series.

 

Event details and schedule

Packet pick-up and check-in:

8:00 AM - 9:15 AM

10K Begins at 9:30 AM

2.5K and 5K Begin at 9:35

Food and beverages at 10:00 AM

Awards at approximately 10:30 AM

 

There is plenty of free parking located throughout the park. Packet pick-up is on race morning at the start/finish, located just past the swim beach and art studio. Signs will be posted leading you there.

There will be a very informal "coat check" available on a green tarp. You will place your keys, coat, etc. (probably not your wallet) in a white plastic bag and write your name on it with a sharpie and leave it on the tarp in a communal area.
