The 2020 PLF/TAC Indoor Triathlon has three distances to choose from: Long (750 y swim, 12 mile indoor cycle, 2 mile run), Sprint (500 yard swim, 8 mile indoor cylce, 2 mile run) and Super Sprint (250 yard swim, 4 mile indoor cycle, 1 mile run). Choose the distance that best suits your fitness level, try to beat last years time or step up a level to see what you can do!
Event details and schedule
The swim will take place in our 6 lane, 25 yard lap pool. Each participant with swim in a lane by themselves. The First heat will start at 7 am. Other heats will begin 10 - 40 minutes later based on anticipated swim finish times. Personalized transition areas will be set up on the pool deck, grouped by your heat, labeled with your name. The indoor cycle portion will be set up 60 steps from the swim finish. The run will take place on our 1/10 of a mile indoor track. All participants are required to have a person to time them during the race. A tracking sheet will be provided to all timers. If you don't have someone, a volunteer will be assigned to be your timer. Shirts can be picked up Friday, April 24th from 5:30-6:30 pm and on Race morning beginning at 6 am. Sleeveless T-shirts will be given to all athletes who register by Wednesday, April 15th. Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 finishes, male and female, for each of the three races. Prizes will be awarded after all races have been completed.
