Event Description

The UCSF Diabetes Center Miracle Mile/5K Holiday Classic encourages runners of all ages and skills to celebrate the holidays together in Golden Gate Park on Sunday morning, Dec. 22,2019. All proceeds from this event will benefit the UCSF Diabetes Center. 

Fast, certified 5K course

Fast, certified downhill 1 mile course

You can participate in either or both. 

Registration by Dec. 13, 2019 includes an event t-shirt and medal.(Late registration cannot guarantee a t-shirt or medal).

On-site registration is available at the race, but there will slight increase in price. We encourage everyone to registrater online to get special rates. 

Race Course will be closed by 10am, therefore we encourage runners/walkers to follow the pedestrian walkway after 10am for their own safety.

Miracle Mile/5K Holiday classic, Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019

Packet pickup and race start near Peacock Meadow on John F Kennedy Dr., Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. 

Parking: note, John F Kennedy Dr. will be closed to cars; parking can be found along the edges of the park, or participants are encouraged to take public transportation. 

7:30 AM: Packet pickup opens

8:15 AM: Mile run starts

9:00 AM: 5K run starts

*The finish line closes at 10am, runners are required to move to pedestrian walkway to prevent any injury or accident.
