Event Description

Run or walk with family and friends around Cabrillo National Monument’s historic landmarks while enjoying San Diego’s magnificent, pristine ocean views.

Participants will enjoy the upper Monument, running or walking by the Old Point Loma Lighthouse, down to Bayside Trail, and back to Visitor Center.

Cabrillo 5K will make incredible memories and pursuit you’ll be proud to accomplish!

First place winners in both Women’s and Men’s divisions are entered into America’s Finest City Half Marathon which takes place in August.

Event details and schedule

Park Gates Open: 6:30 a.m.

Race Start Time: 7 a.m.

Race Finish Time: 8:30 a.m.

All Cabrillo 5K participants will need to exit Park by 8:45 a.m.

If you wish to explore the Park after the race, you will need to exit the Park and re-enter at the Entrance Station and follow NPS entrance policy including entrance fees if applicable. Park opens to the public at 9 a.m.
