Event Description

The 30th annual Uwharrie Mountain Run offers challenging, winter, single-track trail runs of 8, *16*, and 40 miles in central North Carolina’s Uwharrie National Forest. Rocks, roots, creeks, cookies, and handmade pottery awards make Uwharrie a perennial favorite among both recreational and elite trail runners. Join us for a chilly, hilly good time!

Registration will open December 1st, 2020 at 8:00am EST and is expected to sell out quickly.
There are many changes to the 2021 event in order to comply with COVID-19 restrictions and protocols. Please review the race website carefully before registering.
