Event Description
Keep yourself warm this Winter by running with a sweetheart at the 2020 Valentine 5K run! The race starts and ends at the UW-Natatorium, runs along the Howard Temin Lakeshore Path, and takes a short jaunt in the neighborhood around University Bay Dr.
Canned Food Drive
The Running Club is partnering with the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry this year! Participants are encouraged to bring canned food with them to the race. We would appreciate all the help we can get as we're donating the food to the food pantry. See https://svdpmadison.org/need-help/food-pantry/ for more details.
Race Guidelines and Information
Wear bibs on the front so they are visible
No pets, roller skates, or inline skates
Baby strollers and baby joggers are permitted
Each mile is marked along the course
Splits will be read at the 1 mile and 2 mile points
Runners will be directed into a chute at the finish and should remain in a single-file line until the tear-off portion of their bib is removed.
