Event Description

The Mojave Death race is a 250+ mile Run, Mountain Bike, & Road Bike relay race across the Mojave Desert made up of 24 indiviual legs. It should be considered difficult and very strenuous. 
Self-supported teams of 8 or 12 will traverse 250+ miles and climb over 16,000 feet of inhospitable desert by foot, mountain bike and road bike.
 It will take a team effort to conquer the course. The Mojave Death Race is the frontier of relay racing for those who are ready to test themselves against the distance, the elements, and each other. The Mojave Death Race is tough. Are you tough enough?

Event details and schedule

 The Mojave Death Race is difficult both physically and logistically. Finishing will require teamwork. 

Corporate team registration includes your company logo on the race shirt and other bronze level sponsorship benefits.

There are no refunds of entry fees. If a team cannot compete they may request a rollover to the following year. If an individual team member cannot compete, teams can substitute another racer up to race check-in or compete with less than a full team.

All teams are required to provide a minimum of 2 Race Crew to the race (no one wants to be left in the desert all alone). If you cannot provide Race Crew you may opt to pay the $250 PITA fee. Race Crew will be expected to work a 6 to 8 hour shift. Positions will be filled in the order of teams completing registration. We would rather have your help than your money. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative exchange points.

 There will be a manditory team captian meeting on Friday 6/5 at packet pick up.

Saturday 6/6 Race starts at 7:00 AM

Sunday 6/7 First team expected 12:00 Midnight-last team expected by 8:00 AM awards to follow
