Event Description

In 2019, over 150 First Responders lost their lives in the line of duty.

In that same year, more than double that lost their lives outside the line of duty with nearly 200 First Responders taking their own life due to suicide.

This free run is taking place as a way to honor the lives of those First Responders lost outside the line of duty as well as raise awareness for suicide and provide resources on preventative measures for our First Responders.

Mile 1 will be run in honor of all Law Enforcement Officers lost outside the line of duty.
Mile 2 will be run in honor of all Firefighters lost outside the line of duty.
Mile 3 will be run in honor of all those First Responders who lost their lives due to their own hand.

Come join us as we honor our fallen heroes and provide resources for those contemplating and/or dealing with those contemplating suicide.

The 5k will take place at Valencia College's School of Public Safety located at 8600 Valencia College Lane in Orlando, Florida. Run will begin at 8AM and will be led by Zechariah from Running 4 Heroes, and will conclude with food and resources from supporting vendors.
