Event Description

Come run for fun, come run for orphans, or come run to show off your costume…Just make sure you come!  This second annual They Are One Trick-or-Trot is a Halloween-themed family fun run on October 29th. The event is a fundraiser for the locally-based nonprofit, They Are One, which exists to serve orphans in Haiti, as well as other places around the globe, and at-risk children locally in Monterey County.

There is a 1K option for the littlest runners, and strollers, walkers and little runners are welcome to join their parents in the family 5K, which takes place at the Monterey Fairgrounds.

The event also includes music, costume contests, a medal ceremony, and other family fun to kick off your Halloween weekend. This top-notch community event for families is a fun and healthy way to spend your holiday, knowing you are doing something that makes a difference in the lives of others. Arrive between 8-8:30 for 1K check in and by 9 for 5K

Park in fair parking or on surrounding streets (Read and obey street signs to avoid tickets)
