“Running with a Purpose”

to help benefit

Wesley’s Warrior Foundation.

Wesley’s Warriors is a Non-Profit Foundation started to give hope to families who have children struggling against cancer.  We will work with families to ensure they have the tools they need to persevere despite their difficulties in a state of grace.  As Wesley would say, “Be good, do good , and never, ever, ever, give up.”

In May 2017, Wesley McCall was diagnosed with Glioblastoma at the age of 15. At 15 you should be preparing to get your drivers license, planning your 16th birthday party or anything other than preparing to fight for your life. But Wesley took everything in stride, never asking “Why?” or feeling down on himself. Instead he chose to find joy and purpose in the journey, which God had given him. Time was spent doing all the great things life has to offer such as traveling and enjoying time with family and friends. On March 11, 2018, Wesley gained his angel wings and was ultimately healed.

Through this unexplainable and unimaginable loss, there was purpose to be found in the pain. Angela, Wesley’s mother, founded Wesley’s Warrior Foundation, with the motto “Be Good. Do Good.” And that is exactly what she has done with this foundation- showing love and extending a hand to help in the darkest of times to so many families that are facing similar situations as Wesley’s.

In order to make this event great, we are asking for donations, sponsorships, or materials that can help benefit this race. We will have t-shirts for the runners, swag bags, and medals for the runners who finish at the top of their division.
